Cover OS — connected manufacturing operations
Designed / in progress. Three locations, two countries: Ontario, Nova Scotia and Medina, USA. One shared operational platform.
Client identity withheld pending publication approval. This is a conceptual, in-progress architecture, not a production deployment or savings claim.
From fragmented handoffs to a common job record
The intended architecture connects documents, geometry, engineering review, quoting, orders, production and shipping through shared context.
RFQ intake
Email, photos, drawings and measurements enter a common job record. Original source documents remain connected to the request.
Interpret & review
ai-assisted document interpretation and geometry support a digital twin. Deterministic engineering rules and human review define the control boundary.
Engineer & quote
The proposed architecture links CAD and drawing outputs to estimating, pricing and quotation—using a shared, versioned record.
Order & produce
Sales orders connect to Acumatica ERP integration and production/work orders. Integration ownership and acceptance remain part of the implementation scope.
Ship & manage
Shipping and operational management connect to the job history, versions and approvals across three locations and two countries.
